A: The Goderich Farmers Market is the longest running Farmers Market (approximately 40+ years) in southwestern Ontario
A: Approximately 50 vendors participate each week
A: The BIA collects the fees and uses the monies collected to offset costs for downtown beautification, advertising, events and marketing.
A: Downtown businesses can receive a free table at the market where your business flyers and coupons can be handed out at the BIA table or collaborate with a participating vendor (Example: Offer a discount with a like-minded vendor). Contact the BIA directly for more information. 519 440-0871
A: The BIA limits Food Trucks to a minimum with those permitted being grandfathered in while construction is completed
A: The Farmers Market brings hundreds of people downtown to the market, which exposes our downtown businesses to new customers and is an excellent marketing opportunity for businesses to get them into your store.
A: Yes it will in operation throughout the summer during construction
A: The Farmers market will be located primarily on the south side of the Square (west to south and East to South). During Special Events the Markets will be re-located.
A: South Street to Elgin Street has been designated “Farmers Market” areas during weekends that are hosting other events.
